About Me
I am a licensed psychologist focused on providing individual therapy, and have been a mental health therapist since 2014. I specialize in anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship distress, but also treat a wide range of mental-health related conditions. I have years of experience working directly with veterans, college students, Division I college athletes, teenagers, and adults of various ages, cultural backgrounds, and levels of psychological functioning. I offer in-person or virtual therapy sessions in New Jersey, and am able to provide telehealth video services across the U.S in all PSYPACT-approved states.
I completed pre-doctoral externships at Hackensack-Meridian Mountainside Medical Center, Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) at Seton Hall University, and a two year rotation on the Residential Substance Abuse unit at the New Jersey Veterans Affairs Hospital (NJVA). I also completed a full-time, one year rotation as a psychology intern at the NJVA, working on the Acute Psychiatry ward, Residential Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) unit, PTSD outpatient clinic, and General Mental Health clinic.
Additionally, I have experience working at multiple schools within the Newark Public School District, and have also worked at local community counseling agencies. Maintaining strong relationships with my supervisors and applying the training I received in a variety of clinical settings has allowed me to develop a wide range of effective therapeutic techniques and strategies. I use these skills in my practice to create a plan specifically tailored for your individual treatment needs.
